great careers and we are very proud of them. Moved from Bay City in '77 to move to Mio (6yrs) and then onto Oscoda (12yrs), after the base closed...things really slowed and Hubby had a chance to advance with his career and we relocated to Kalamazoo/Portage but as our parents were aging, we wanted to get back to this side of the state so we worked our way back to Plymouth and then back to Bay City. Since, my dad passed 4 yrs ago and my husbands dad 2 yr ago. My mom is now living back in Bay City, it took awhile to get her to leave Oscoda to move back.
It's great to see the new growth in Bay City but also sad to see so many of the places that changed that were part of our growing up.".
